Microsoft Teams has recently had an update that allows us to have a little more fun with Teams! You can now have custom backgrounds during your video meetings.
Here’s how
To set a custom background, during a meeting click the three little dots in the toolbar and choose “show background options”.
From there you can preview the different options, before turning your camera on and applying the background for everyone to see.
Here’s some ideas for fun backgrounds
- Your favourite holiday destination or landmark.
- The set of your favourite TV show or movie.
- Change your background depending on the occasion or season; bunnies for Easter, snowy mountains for winter, or balloons when it’s your birthday.
- Customise your background with your organisation’s branding.
