Earlier this year, LiveTiles announced it would be moving to three major releases a year as part of its concerted to increase the pace and quality of innovation. Highlights of the Enhanced Digital Workplace Experience Release include:
- Revamping LiveTiles User Experience and User Interface: To help our customers deliver the best workplace experience, we’re introducing substantial updates to make LiveTiles even more engaging and accessible. These new features include a revamp of the User Experience (UX) for Reach, along with numerous enhancements to LiveTiles Intranet’ admin experience.
- Cognitive Page Translation: We’ve introduced a significant feature that allows for automatic translation of all page text content, ensuring a more inclusive and accessible digital workspace for all users.
- VIVA Connections Cards Integration: We’ve integrated VIVA Connections Cards into SharePoint and Teams, providing a comprehensive ‘everywhere experience’. This suite of cards is designed to streamline user interactions and improve productivity.
- New Navigation Builder for SharePoint: We’re excited to introduce an intuitive Matrix Navigation and Mega Menu configuration interface to replace the previous JSON setup. UI support for audience targeting, multi-tenant configurations, translations, an updated navigation designer, and search functions.
- Custom Hierarchical Relationships at LiveTiles Directory: This new feature allows you to create custom fields to define your organization’s structure and intelligently find people. It enables the creation of custom hierarchical org charts, which is particularly beneficial for large enterprises and matrix organizations, where an individual may hold different positions or responsibilities in various roles and projects.
- Real-Time Analytics: New dynamic, event-driven analytics platform for LiveTiles Reach with a dashboard capable of real-time data processing. This feature, which includes a dashboard, can take in data from different applications. It gives a complete view of Reach’s data from both user-facing and server-side points of view. It also allows for a single sign-on (one login for multiple services).
- Performance Improvements: We’ve implemented substantial performance improvements across the platform. Notable additions include the refined Everywhere Panel, Governance Dashboard, and Quick-Links experience. These enhancements are designed to provide a smoother and more efficient user experience.
