LiveTiles is proud to announce that we will open our APAC Headquarters and Global Innovation Centre in Geelong, Victoria.
With the help of the Victorian Government, LiveTiles plans to create 500 new jobs in the area. By partnering with local universities, TAFEs and secondary schools, LiveTiles also intends to develop new opportunities for recent technology graduates and researchers.
As a company with Victorian roots, LiveTiles understands the importance of innovation. Our strong relationship with the Victorian Government has ensured our success. As businesses continue to integrate the latest technologies in order to succeed, and schools begin to teach students coding, design thinking and digital literacy skills, we are excited to be at the center of this mission.
LiveTiles intends to establish Geelong as a global tech hub that fosters creative and forward-thinking ideas. A particular focus will be on artificial intelligence. As LiveTiles’ CEO Karl Redenbach puts it, “One of the things we hope we’re steering is that journey of AI.”
Two prominent members of the Victorian government were on site for the big announcement. The Hon. Philip Dalidakis, Minister for Trade & Investment, Innovation & The Digital Economy and Small Business, and the Hon. Daniel Andrews, Premier of Victoria, expressed their confidence in LiveTiles as it expands its global footprint. “To see what LiveTiles has been able to achieve is tremendous, not just for our ecosystem, but to demonstrate to the world that we can actually run with the big boys and beat them at their own game,” Minister Dalidakis said.
Since co-founding LiveTiles with Peter Nguyen-Brown in 2014, Redenbach has maintained his productive relationship with the Victorian Government. LiveTiles was proud to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 2015 after a successful capital raising of AU$12 million, and thanks to the generous support of the Victorian government, we have come a long way to produce tools that positively impact the enterprise, SMB and education markets. Our Intelligent Workplace software has been utilized by some of the world’s biggest brands.
LiveTiles has offices in New York City, Washington State, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, North Carolina, London, Zurich, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, and major markets include the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
As LiveTiles expands, we remain committed to creating new jobs in Victoria to grow our team. “What we’re hoping to achieve here is to set Geelong as a technology leader, not just for Australia, but for the world,” Redenbach said.
