We’re excited to introduce LiveTiles Insider, an exclusive web series about the Intelligent Workplace.
From now on, each time we update our software, we’ll show you a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the decision-making process, as well as a fun peak into the lives of the people who make it all happen.
In this week’s episode, LiveTiles’ Product Marketing Manager Chris Lukianenko presents a preview of future releases. A few highlights include major improvements to our List Tile and enhancements to our latest AI release, LiveTiles Intelligence. These updates are sure to satisfy all SharePoint designers and help organizations transition from the digital workplace to the intelligent workplace.

2 Usability Improvements:
- The Text Tile has been updated to use the latest version of the CK Editor library. This makes available additional text editing functionality, in particular the support for tables and spell checking.
- The Custom Tile now has the ability to set the background color of the tile. It can be accessed in the same format as user-defined variables, i.e. @bgColor.
4 Bug Fixes:
Workflow Task Alert Tile – View filter not applied correctly | Column filtering of the selected SharePoint view was not being applied to the Workflow Task Alert Tile. This has now been fixed. |
CK Editor – Would break when settings window was resized | An issue was experienced when using the Text Tile. The CK Editor would break when the settings window was resized. This has now been fixed. |
List Tile – Used PC clock instead of SharePoint tenant settings | The List Tile displayed dates in the local PC settings, not the settings of the SharePoint tenant. This has now been fixed. |
News List Tile – Didn’t honor the Flat File Setting in the selected SharePoint view | The News List Tile didn’t honor the ‘Flat File Setting’ from SharePoint when displaying items from folders. This has now been fixed. |
