We’re excited to announce our first major product launch of 2024 since being named the latest “Visionaries” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.

This release extends the valuable updates we introduced last year, including the Operations Center, a centralized hub for all LiveTiles solutions, as well as the new LiveTiles Reach, our internal communication app. Furthermore, we’re introducing advanced AI features, improved analytics, and expanded platform capabilities.

LiveTiles AI Assistant: Personalized, Real-Time Employee Support

The LiveTiles AI Assistant will transform the way we provide immediate and personalized support to employees, by transforming complex data into actionable insights, and leveraging machine learning to deliver the right information in the right context.

Simply, it will assist employees in quickly finding everything they need, and ensure they don’t miss any important notifications, keeping them all in one place.

This development marks a significant evolution from our awarded “everywhere panel” feature, which is known for its comprehensive integration with SharePoint and Teams environments.

The new assistant not only consolidates all your systems, but also shifts from a static presence to an interactive widget. This change facilitates instant access, introduces a conversational interface, and establishes a single point of contact for all types of employee queries. It offers quick, precise answers, minimizing the time employees spend searching for information.

Lastly, our AI Assistant will be powered by the addition of two new services: our AI Engine, and our Notification Engine.

Introducing Our New AI & Notifications Engines

Starting in March 2024, we are introducing the new AI Engine and Notifications Engine to help administrators take control of these services within the entire LiveTiles ecosystem.

AI Engine

Our new AI Engine is your gateway to managing AI functionality within the LiveTiles ecosystem. This service offers more than just data privacy and security; it’s about providing a robust foundation for all AI-driven features, and ensures they are accessible across all of our products.

Notifications Engine

Acting as the central hub for all of your communication channels, this engine streamlines the flow of information, ensuring that notifications are both timely and relevant. It delivers precision in communication, it delivers more effective communication, offering the ability to customize notifications.

LiveTiles Reach: New Content Creation Widgets, and Custom Content Feeds

In our previous releases, we presented what’s next for our employee communications app, including a major UX redesign, new AI capabilities, and enhanced content engagement. This new release brings exciting new features to LiveTiles Reach, including:

Expand Your Content Creation Toolkit with New Widgets

To help internal communicators craft messages that resonate, we’re excited to introduce our new suite of widgets, designed to bring your content creation to the next level.

These new additions enable you to seamlessly integrate images, videos, and a diverse range of multimedia elements into your posts, pages, and updates, ensuring your communications are as engaging as they are informative. These widgets will be rolled out in the coming weeks, and will soon be available for our early-access demo.

Find What Matters with Tailored ‘Custom Feeds’

Delivering relevant content to your employees should be simple and straightforward. Our new LiveTiles Reach introduces ‘Custom Feeds’ that allow users to filter content based on specific channels or categories of interest.

Every user has a default ‘Discovery’ feed that keeps them up-to-date with the latest and most-important news. For more-tailored content, you can set up custom ‘Feeds’ that show news just for specific groups. Admins can easily manage and personalize these feeds within the new LiveTiles Reach.

We’re excited to unveil the second version of our scalable, full-service hub for all LiveTiles solutions. This update empowers intranet administrators to unlock even greater value from LiveTiles Intranet. Read more about the Operations Center here.

What’s new?

Branding: Customize your internet’s visual appeal and user experience directly within your Operations Center. Create a cohesive and accessible environment that resonates with your brand identity:

  • Colours: Choose your brand’s colours, and verify WCAG compliance with our colour contrast checker.
  • Logo: Upload your logo effortlessly, and preview it before publishing.
  • Menu Style: Tailor your intranet’s navigation menu to align with your brand guidelines with ease.
  • Fonts: Update your intranet’s font by selecting a new Google font, or uploading your custom font family, complete with a live preview.
  • Advanced Branding Settings: For further customization, add your custom CSS or JavaScript directly through the Operations Center.

Quick Links: Streamline navigation and enhance productivity with Quick Links, making essential resources and tools readily accessible. The process of adding new quick links to your intranet has never been simpler.

With the Quick Links feature now part of the Operations Center, we’ve expanded customization options. You can categorize quick links, change their icons, and assign custom audiences for each, ensuring users find what they need with ease.

Audiences: Creating and managing audiences is crucial for delivering targeted content at the right moment to the right people.

Take Quick Links, for instance. Now, within the Operations Center, you can define and segment audiences accurately, ensuring that the right groups are reached. This ensures that your content connects with the intended groups, significantly enhancing engagement in your digital workspace.

This is how it works:

Policies: Admins can now manage policies within the Operations Center. This module is perfectly suited for organizing handbooks, procedures, guidelines, and training materials, streamlining policy access and governance.

LiveTiles Analytics: New SharePoint Dashboard, Metrics and Filters

Building upon our commitment to provide insightful data across your digital workplace, we’re proud to present the next evolution of our Analytics capabilities.

What’s new?

UX & New Analytics Dashboard: Starting with the user experience, we’ve updated the main analytics dashboard to provide a more-intuitive-and-efficient way of consulting SharePoint analytics data. The dashboard now incorporates new analytics metrics, and is organized into tabs, streamlining the display of information for better organization and quick reference.

The new tabs include:

  • Interactions Dashboard: Featuring new charts and visuals, this dashboard captures a comprehensive view of SharePoint usage, including site traffic, active users, Mega Menu interactions, and most-clicked links. It also highlights the most-visited pages, user views, and actions like clicks across different SharePoint areas.
  • Users Dashboard: This tab provides insights into user preferences, showcasing metrics like preferred language, timezone, location, and departmental breakdowns within the workplace.
  • Accessibility Dashboard: Offering an overview of user interaction with the SharePoint intranet, this dashboard includes details such as operating system, device model, browser type, and screen resolution to ensure an inclusive digital environment.

Improved LiveTiles Reach (employee app) Data Filters: Gain meaningful insights from your Reach data with the introduction of new filtering options. Drill down into specific user segments, content types, and timeframes to uncover hidden trends and make informed “internal comms” decisions.

Access your Analytics Dashboards via the Operations Center: View your SharePoint and Reach analytics dashboards conveniently from the centralized Operations Center. This one-stop hub simplifies navigation, and keeps your key metrics within easy reach.
