NEW FEATURE

Image tile – Crop mode

To make using images within the LiveTiles platform easier to use, we have added in the ability to crop and edit images from the LiveTiles design canvas.

When you select an image from the asset picker or copy/paste a link to the image path, a new button will appear called ‘Edit Image.’ This will open up the image editor.

From here, you will be able to crop the image by changing the size of the highlighted box, allowing you to choose the width and height of the image selection area. In addition, you will also have the option to choose a pre-select size ratio from the top right corner, giving the options of aspect ratios 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1.

Once you click save, you have the ability to save the image as a png. The path automatically pre-fills with the location of the image you have cropped, as well as the name of the image you have cropped. You also have the option to rename the image and change the save location.
