SV had a vision for a visually appealing, engaging intranet filled with dynamic. It was important that the solution could be easily operated by non-IT content managers and help to sell the value of the underlying SharePoint platform. SV choose to implement LiveTiles due to the tool’s simplicity, cost efficiency and its clean, modern user experience. LiveTiles was installed into a SharePoint 2013 on premise environment. Their interactive new intranet has given SV a modern, user-friendly platform upon which to support their operation and a reinvigorated employee base.
With content publishing now a simple, quick process, updates are being made weekly, led by a group of trained content managers from each department.
With Yammer now featuring prominently on the intranet homepage, where employees can easily experience its value, usage has skyrocketed to 90 per cent in just a few months. It has become the natural home for good news stories, updates and business lessons.
